Pinot Noir 素有最難照料的葡萄品種之稱，1985年當 David Hohnen 創立了 Cloudy Bay 馬爾波羅灣 Marlborough 最具代表性的 Sauvignon Blanc，30年來 Cloudy Bay 持續這份拓荒精神，開發了全球最具挑戰之一的中奧塔哥 Central Otago 區域的黑皮諾葡萄品種。
日前，雲霧之灣酒廠所發表的 Te Wahi 2014 年份即是來自中奧塔哥的黑皮諾，此區域的黑皮諾葡萄產量極為稀有，僅佔全紐西蘭不到2%。
「Te Wahi」在毛利語的意思代表 “這個地方”，雲霧之灣相信好的黑皮諾葡萄可完整展現當地風土的特色，來自中奧塔哥的黑皮諾葡萄可釀製複雜及具有結構感的黑皮諾紅酒，雲霧之灣釀酒團隊抱持著酒廠創始以來的拓荒精神，期望透過開發此區的黑皮諾葡萄，讓大家感受到全然不同風味的黑皮諾紅酒。
口感風味：Te Wahi 擁有紅色與深色櫻桃、黑色梅李芬芳，以及豐富的蛋糕香氣。一開瓶，煙燻燧石與花朵風味逐漸湧現。入口後，帶有輕柔酸度的甜美水果滋味縈繞口中。絲絨般柔順但堅實的單寧結構讓人流連忘返，尾韻悠長集中富有層次感。
最適合搭配的美食有：野味、鴨肉、鹿肉與和牛。
